When it comes to replace your van, your best bet is to take a new van through van leasing. It may appear to cost more in the short term, but it is a practical choice. When you are leasing a new van, the primary consideration should be about more than money. A van fresh from the factory, generally gives you the assurance that all parts work. A warranty also comes with the van covering the maintenance during the full term of the agreement.

A van leasing deal does not require much financial expertise. If you have built some background knowledge, then you are in a better position to bargain for top deal. The depreciation value is determined by the estimated residual value of the vehicle when the leasing agreement ends. The difference in cost has to be met by the customer. When a deal has been struck, the documents are prepared and sent to be approved. Your credit rating will have an impact on the success of the deal. Students and first-time customers will probably find it tough to get a deal because of the lack of a credit history.

The level of monthly payments may be determined by the ‘money factor’. This is a small decimal number, which when multiplied by 2400, gives the interest to be paid each month. The best scenario would be getting interest payments on a lease deal which match those of a personal loan.

While leasing a new vehicle, it is important to remember that payments made every month will be higher than with used vehicles. Depreciation is high in the first year of purchase and is halved each successive year.

Leasing a van gives great satisfaction because you know that you are driving the latest mechanical technology. The vehicle will also have a higher resale value at the end of the term should you decide to sell up or trade it in for a new lease. New vans are easier to look after and are equipped with more fuel-effecient technology.

Car leasing is a good option for those people who love to drive a new motor, but just couldn’t afford to purchase something new every few years. Car leasing allows you to have the use of a car without actually owning it by paying a certain amount to the car lease company each month. Your lease will be for an agreed upon time and you will pay regular instalments for the duration of your lease. The amount you pay each month will depend upon the amount of mileage you expect to clock up.

However car leasing is not considered to be very economical. On the other hand, leasing can allow you to drive new cars that you might otherwise have no opportunity of purchasing. For many, the fact that car leasing allows you to drive a new car rather than an old one is something that they would rather pay for even knowing that once the lease is over, they will have nothing to show for it. A lot of people just take out a new lease once their old one has come to an end which is usually after a period of three years. If you want you can change every year, but this will be more expensive.

The worldwide recession has led to a fall in the amount of people that are buying new cars. Even though many experts expect 2010 to be much better economically, many people are still not prepared to take that big leap and to invest in a brand new car. Choosing to lease a car can mean that those who want to drive a new car can do so without their bank accounts taking a big hit. It also means not having to commit themselves to years of loan repayments for a car that will have suffered a lot of wear and tear by the time that they are finished paying.

Car leasing can be a good option for many people, but it is important to fully understand any contract and to shop around for the best deal.

When you have to search for different van leasing, taking a look at various models prior to deciding on which one you require is often the best way forward. You never know, you may end up with mazda car leasing or even lexus car leasing options.

Perhaps the most frequently asked question for us as a business, is how do you make the choice between taking a lease or renting a van. What are the major benefits to taking out a lease, as opposed to a simple rental agreement?

It is quite simple really. When you lease a van you can choose which one to take from the extensive range of familiar models that are available. It is possible to choose which colour you want, what options and specifications and size that is suitable. You are spreading your monthly payments as a customer, over a set term – as a result, your monthly payments will be considerably lower than a rental agreement. It is becuase the finance company knows exactly how much money it will be earning from the customer because of the customer’s committment to the deal.

Because we have such a high turnover of vans, we can get the best possible prices, and pass them straight to the customer. This culminates in lower start up cost, helping to improve cash flow for the customer. A customer also has the option to own or sell the vehicle at the end of the van lease deal.

There is the added bonus of being able to sign write your vehicle with your own company logo and add other extras such as roof racks and interior racking.

As an alternative, with rental you can pay the monthly cost and have nothing to show at the end of the rental agreement. For me, it is the worst of all of the options on show, and has the least value for any business.

To know more information, see how we can help your company with our special commercial vehicle leasing deals. LDV van leasing and Iveco Van Leasing are just some of the options out there to choose from.
